Terms and conditions
I acknowledge that:
o I participate in the Event at my own risk. I will take all reasonable measures to protect myself from the risks of participation. I accept all responsibility for travel and medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of medical/surgical expenses incurred on my behalf.
o I understand that I should not compete in this event unless I have trained appropriately and to the best of my knowledge, I am not suffering from a condition which would prevent and/or render me unfit to participate in the Event.
o By competing, I accept all risks necessarily flowing from my participation that could result in injury or death. Accordingly, I release all people associated with the conduct of the event from, and will indemnify them against, all liability (including liability for their negligence) for any and all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in this event. For clarification, the people released include event organisers, sponsors, managers, government and public authorities, contractors, volunteers. This release and indemnity is perpetual and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assigns.
o I will abide by the race rules and any and all other instructions or rules provided to me in the course of participating in this event.
o I agree to receive and pay for medical treatment, which is considered by organisers to be advisable and which is provided to me at the request or direction of the organizer before, during or after the event. I have read the above Event Rules and agree to abide by all race rules and directions as stated in the declaration and upon literature and other material distributed in connection with the event.
o I accept that the Virtual Half, Tassal Ten, the Bendigo Five and Annabelle's run is not providing physical support including aid stations, medical support, transport, physio, or other runner aids. I agree that I have prepared for this and have implemented a running plan appropriate to the route I selected, conditions, runner aids required and my level of fitness.
o Entry information is to be collected into a database which is and shall remain the property of Dover Fun Run.
o The database will be used in the management of the race and for the purpose of the Dover Fun Run.
o I acknowledge that the information given on this form or otherwise provided by me (or my parent/s or guardian/s) to the Dover Fun Run is true and correct.
o I acknowledge that photos may be taken throughout the Dover Fun Run and consent to the use of my image in any form of media without payment or compensation.
o The organisers cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen valuables.
By selecting "AGREE", I confirm that I have read and understood, and agree to, the terms and conditions of this risk warning and waiver.
