Wanda SLSC announces the cancellation of the 2021 Tradies Sutherland to Surf. The 50 year celebration will have to wait for another year - it'll be big!
As you know, the 2021 Tradies S2S was originally set for 19 July then during the first phase of lockdown it was rescheduled to 29 August.
Wanda SLSC's volunteer committee has worked tirelessly with Sutherland Shire Council and NSW Authorities to try and find a solution but with Greater Sydney enduring a prolonged lockdown, the ability to hold a large community event in the next few months is very unlikely.
The safety of participants, sponsors, volunteer workforce and the broader community is always paramount.
The Tradies S2S is the major fund-raising event for Wanda SLSC with all profits put towards vital rescue equipment and training our volunteer Surf Lifesavers to keep our community safe on Wanda Beach.
We are most grateful to our wonderful sponsors who have been so supportive and we couldn't run the event without them.
Wanda SLSC will refund all 2021 Tradies S2S online entry fees.

After Friday 20 August 2021 all remaining entries will be refunded in full.
