Terms and conditions
Please read this acknowledgment, waiver and release from liability carefully before continuing with your online entry:
1. I, the undersigned in consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of my entry in the Wollongong Running Festival, for myself, my heirs, executors & administrators, hereby waive all & any claim, sight or cause of action which I or they might otherwise have for or arising out of a loss of my life or injury, damage or loss on any description whatsoever which I may suffer or sustain in the course of or consequent upon my entry or participation in the said event.
2. This waiver, release & discharge shall be & operate separately in favour of all persons, corporations & bodies involved or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the event & the servants, agents, representatives & officers of any of them & includes but is not limited to medical & paramedical practitioners & personnel, police officers & shall so operate whether or not the loss or damage is attributable to the act or neglect of any one or more of them.
3. I will abide by the competition rules.
4. I will walk/run on the approved course as directed and will accept the judge’s decision as final.
5. The organisers have the right to reject or cancel any event entry at any time.
6. I acknowledge that I will not be awarded a place unless I wear an official competitor’s chest number and the entire number and colour strips is visible throughout the event.
7. I will walk/run on the left hand side of the road/bike track unless otherwise directed by police or event marshals.
8. The event committee reserves the right to alter without notice any of the rules and conditions that govern the event.
9. Photographs of the event including people will be taken for promotional purposes and Savvy Fitness (Aust) Pty Ltd have the right to use these photographs for promotion of the event in the future.
10. I have read & understood the above terms & conditions & agree to abide by the rules & conditions which govern the event.

the age of 44 years – tragically we lose 9 people to suicide every day.
In the last year, Lifeline South Coast has answered more than 25,000 calls
on the 24-hour telephone crisis support service 13 11 14
and is working hard to ensure this vital service is available
to our community when they need it most.
Lifeline South Coast is a local charity based in Wollongong,
this means that the funds raised locally stay here in our community
and are used to help local people talk about their problems
and find ways to solve them.
We are committed to building the resilience of our local community,
which spans from Helensburgh to the Victorian border.
